Sandra Honegan-Pounder is an Associate at the Hamburger Law Firm and also serves as Counsel with MarketCounsel, an affiliated business, regulatory, and compliance consulting firm for entrepreneurial investment advisory firms nationwide. Her current work is concentrated in the preparation and negotiation of contracts and the lifecycle of business entities.

Sandra joined the firm in as part of the acquisition of Kupfer & Associates, PLLC. Prior to joining Kupfer & Associates, Sandra worked at the firm of Thelen Reid and Priest. There, she gained extensive experience in corporate, transactional and securities law representing public and private, domestic and multinational corporations in connection with mergers, stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions, securities offerings, tender offers, going private transactions, and bank financings. Sandra also represented large utilities in regulatory matters as well as debt offerings and tax-exempt financings. Mrs. Honegan-Pounder also has experience as a solo practitioner and as a consultant to several firms including Skadden, Aarps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP and Kelley Drye & Warren LLP where she utilized her skills and experience representing a wide range of clients in a variety of transactional matters and providing general corporate advice. Sandra also worked at UBS Financial Services where she served as a compliance officer in the anti-money laundering group.

Sandra is originally from Jamaica and immigrated to the United States in 1979. She lives in Englewood, New Jersey with her husband, son and daughter.
