Scott Brown is an Associate with the Hamburger Law Firm and also serves as Counsel with MarketCounsel, an affiliated business, regulatory, and compliance consulting firm for entrepreneurial investment advisory firms nationwide.  His current work concentrates in the areas of the regulation and compliance of investment advisers and broker-dealers.

Previously, Mr. Brown was an associate at Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman & Leonard.  Scott is admitted to the bars of New Jersey and New York, as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Scott earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Union College.  He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law, graduating with honors.  During law school, he was a member of The Pace Law Review, serving as an editor.

Scott lives in northern New Jersey.
